Coming from a background in Japanese and Linguistics, I am now striving to earn my Master of Library and Information Science at San José State University. My interests lie in archives, digital preservation, digital asset management, metadata as well as library linked data, and taxonomy. To summarize, I am passionate about the mission of cultural heritage preservation, and making it discoverable and accessible to our communities who need it most. I am also currently pursuing a Certificate in Computational Linguistics and am intrigued by the intersection between linguistics and LIS.
